Dear Germantown Plantation Family,
Life in our nation, our state, our city, and our Germantown Plantation community is very different than it was two weeks ago. As I am sure you have all heard by now, Governor Bill Lee released guidance on permitting Tennessee’s; long-term care facilities to provide limited visitation while keeping residents safe from COVID-19.
The executive staff at Germantown Plantation is currently studying this guidance to determine how we can best execute limited visitation and when the best time to begin this would be.
No decision as to when OUR community will begin allowing limited visitation has been made at this time.
We want to continue to observe extreme caution, and will let you know when we will be open to visitation and the rules that must be followed in order to do so safely.
The number of patients with COVID-19 has spiked recently.
Therefore, we feel that it is prudent to wait, make careful considerations, develop a plan, and then begin allowing visitation. We appreciate your patience as we navigate this very delicate and important process.
Sincerely,
Cyndi Workman
Executive Director
